  4. MoreIsBetter is the beginnings of my attempt to provide an equivalent
  5. of MoreFiles for High Level Toolbox. MoreFiles, of course, is the
  6. legendary code sample and library which makes programming with File
  7. Manager tolerable. It provides indispensable work-arounds and
  8. illustrations which have made hundreds of applications perform better.
  9. MoreIsBetter aspires to that greatness.

  11. This is the initial release of MoreIsBetter. It's not documented
  12. terribly well, but I thought it was better to get it out into the
  13. world than to sit on it any longer. (Actually, I've sent it out to
  14. individual developers and it's been on a little-known public AFP
  15. server, but the Tool Chest CD is the vehicle of choice.) I expect to
  16. release revisions to this package fairly often. MoreIsBetter will have
  17. its own bugs -- all code has bugs -- and I'll try to fix them if I
  18. know about them. But I also hope to add lots of functionality. I'm not
  19. nearly done yet. Do send me suggestions for what you'd like to see and
  20. I'll toss them onto my to-do list. (Current top of the list? Improving
  21. this READ ME file!)
